Here is an original working antique round base  Monophone High cradle  telephone that was patented in the 1920s and produced by the Automatic  Electric telephone company. This Highboy model is much more rare than the shorter cradle 1A telephones which you more commonly see on eBay. The early Art deco heavy bakelite handset has newly Nickle plated solid brass bands. It has the older style spit cup mouthpiece. We have polished this handset and added a black cloth covered cord. This beautiful original telephone will make a nice display piece as well as being a fully usable working antique.
