I ordered a Western Electric receiver cap to replace a missing one on an antique wall phone. The cap arrived in a timely manner in good condition, and fit perfectly. I was very satisfied with the Western Electric receiver cap. It arrived soon and fit perfectly on the old receiver. The description beforehand did not specifically state that the cap was newer material, although I did know that it would be. The old ones were made of bakelite and are very fragile. the only negative aspect of this one is that it's shiny/new looking in contrast to the dull finish of the vintage receiver.
