This original AE Monophone 1A is made of bakelite and is highly polished. The Chrome trim including the cradle is newly plated. This was the first desk top- telephone Automatic Electric company made after the candlestick telephone.
Comes with type 38 banded handset which has weight to it being that its solid bakelite and a nice #24 dial which spins smoothly.
We have new plated gold on the bands and all trim to make this telephone look like a million bucks.
New rubber gasket added to the round bottom so you wont mar your furniture. Comes with 2 black woven cloth cords. Will need a subset if you desire a have a ringer otherwise its not necessary.
We can install a braided handset cord which is an original New old stock extensicord which will be $95 extra if desired.
