This item is a great replacement if you want to make the phone self contained like the modern phones are.
In order to make an old phone work properly that doesn't have a self-contained network or ringer box you will need a mini network like this.
We can give you a basic diagram if you tell us what dial and telephone you will use this with.Our diagrams are for telephones with Western Electric or Automatic dials only or manual telephones with out a dial
Big Little Network
This is one great little network.The diagram I used for my phone is the no dial one.In taking the time to understand everything involved I had this phone working great with the transmit and receive volume at normal levels and the antisidetone at a minimum.Thanks again for a great product.
