Here is an original Western Electric candlestick telephone. It is the model 20AL with a special knurled nut assembly for the transmitter and it has been restored just for you. This candlestick is a fully working telephone. We have been restoring antique telephones for 18 years.  We love what we do and it shows

Your friends will be truly amazed to see you using it or to hear your voice on something from the year 1907. We have installed a matching green cloth line cord with a modular end so you just plug it in and enjoy - It works fully.

The brass has been stripped then freshly triple plated nickel .

You can talk thru its mouthpiece transmitter  and hear on its hand held receiver.

Just look at the finish. The receiver has perfect embossment on the top with logo and patent dates (not shown).

The  mouthpiece has the Western Electric Star in the middle.

The reciever cap also has A T & T with patents.

What really makes this telephone unique is the knurled nut transmitter  assembly which is a fairly rare part that is not too often seen .

The bottom part also is stamped as you can see Western Electric and dates of patent.

We have installed not cheap felt but instead the best felt you can by from Holland so it will wear well.

The transmitter cup is held on with a knurled nut assembly which makes this unique. I think it would be very hard to find a nicer 20AL candlestick and I hope that you agree.
