Here is an original Stromberg Carlson round base circa 1919 telephone. This is the model 1179 and was the first cradle telephone made by this company. It was made in the same time period that Western Electric made the A1. This phone was made after the candlestick phone.
There are no cracks or chips in this beautiful working phone. Its handset made of bakelite and it comes highly polished. The mouthpiece on these are usually damaged or repaired. The mouthpioece on this beauty is in mint condition. The nickel plated fingerwheel and dial ring have been newly plated. The bottom has high quality felt from holland that is just like the original.
The matching brown woven cloth cords are nice as well as the rest of the phone. The wall cord has a modular plug. Just plug it in and enjoy.
They are very rare. This one is in pristine shape and has been wired with a network so it works and you can use it. You can dial calls. We have recalibrated the dial for you. It will work well.
Your friends and relatives will be amazed with this awesome phone that was produced in late 1919.
