Fantastic Antique Model 317 wooden wall telephone made by the Western Electric Company. The bells  have been re-nickeled with a deep nickel finish and are flawless.

When you crank the handle the large bells ring beautifully.

The receiver and mouth piece are original and are polished to a nice shine. The receiver cord is an original brown cloth covered cord

The wood on this one is Quartersawn oak. It has been professionally refinished but it is an older refinishing job which is still perfect.

This would be an awesome display piece.  

I can make these work and install a dial, another bell and a 1930s network inside of the box(there is plenty of room).

So, you leave the door screw lose open the door to dial and close the door. The phone would then ring off of another ringer inside.

This way you could fully use this phone. The cost to make this phone work fully would be $300 parts included
